With residents and visitors ready to usher in a New Year of hope, health and good cheer, Weatherford Hotel owners have announced the return of the Great Pinecone Drop to historic downtown Flagstaff.

FLAGSTAFF — A popular New Year's Eve event normally attended by thousands in shoulder-to-shoulder conditions in downtown Flagstaff has been canceled again due to public health threats from the continuing coronavirus outbreak.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Residents and visitors to northern Arizona will be returning to downtown Flagstaff’s historic district for the Weatherford Hotel’s annual holiday tradition, the Great Pinecone Drop, Dec. 31.
