PHOENIX (AP) — An appeals court on Tuesday night ordered an early end to an extension of Arizona's voter registration deadline that was ordered by a judge after pandemic restrictions led to a decrease in people signing up to vote.
Arizonans will be given another two and a half weeks to sign up to vote in the upcoming election.
Council seats are four-year terms and the mayor’s seat is a two-year term, which both begin January 2021.
Current terms for Mayor Craig Sanderson, and council members Al Montoya and Becky Wirth expire this year.
