Jonathan David McMahon, Jr.

Jonathan David McMahon Jr, of Williams, Arizona passed away Aug. 29, 2023.

Jonathan, or Bubba as his family called him, was born Sept. 19, 2004 in Las Vegas to Amber and David McMahon and big sister Alyssa.

He spent the early years of his life running amuck on his parent's property in Pahrump, Nevada. He did what all little boys with tons of energy do, get into mischief. His dad used to say that Bubba didn't find trouble, it always found him.

He began racing his dirt bike at the age of four and discovered the love for speed that would stay with him for the rest of his life.

The family moved to Williams, Ariz. in 2012 where Jonathan was involved in football, baseball and basketball throughout his years at WEMS and WHS. Jonathan always had a smirk, a funny comment, or a sarcastic one for those he loved. He loved hard and wasn't afraid to live life his way.

Jonathan is survived by his mother, Amber McMahon; sister, Alyssa Daniels; brother in law, Shawn Daniels; grandparents, Randy and Dawn Gomoll, Terry and Gary Beck, John and Denise McMahon; great grandmother, Olive Gomoll; aunts Brianne Owens, Jennifer Cooper, Sarah Cooper; uncles James Cooper, Michael Cooper, and James Owens; cousins Caidan, Gage, Maddox, Aubrey Owens and Elodie and Imogen Cooper.

There is not enough room to name all the numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the sports parents of Williams who watched him grow up.

Jonathan's father, Jonathan David McMahon, preceded him in death and met him at the gates of heaven with his arms wide open.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support for their family during this tragic time. Please know that it means a great deal to us all. A celebration of life will be held in honor of Jonathan, as he said "funerals are a waste of time and a party was a better idea".

Fly high Bubba and know that Mom and Sissy love you mostest.
