Senior Spotlight: Kanyon Sanders
Kanyon Sanders is a senior at Williams High School (WHS). He moved from Tuba City to Williams when he was young and has attended school in Williams ever since.
In high school, Kanyon participated in spors and clubs.
“I played football in my freshman and sophomore year, and then for junior year I was in the Experience Club,” Kanyon said.
Kanyon said he enjoyed welding classes the most during his sophomore and junior year.
During his time in high school, Kanyon mentioned Mr. Brownlee was one of his favorite teachers that influenced him.
In his free time he is either spending time with his friends or working.
“Whenever I do get free time, I like just spending time with my friends,” Kanyon said.
Throughout high school, he worked at three nearby gas stations and is currently working at the Grand Canyon Railway.
After graduating, Kanyon plans on attending the University of Arizona to get his doctorate. He would like to get a medical or engineering degree.
