Senior Spotlight: Jaycie Dent
Williams High School graduation and beyond
Jaycie Dent is a senior at Williams High School (WHS). She has attended school in Williams since kindergarten.
Jaycie has been part of the student council for three years, and has been student body president for two.
Jaycie’s influences and inspirations included Mr. Echeverria, Mr. Brownlee, and Mrs. Moreno. Speaking to Moreno about student body president responsibilities, Jaycie said she was easy to rely on.
“She helped me a ton. She took a lot of the stress off my back and I appreciate her so much,” said Jaycie.
After school, Jaycie worked at Frontier Family Fun and Bearizona.
“It’s kind of made me think about if I want to be a zookeeper, because I do like that atmosphere. I like to see all the animals,” Jaycie said.
Some of her favorite memories included homecoming and winning two softball state championships.
“I feel like our class really came together and we bonded a lot,” Jaycie said. “Then winning the state championship, I don’t think any of us will ever forget that.”
After graduation, Jaycie plans on staying close, possibly moving to Flagstaff. She is deciding whether to study teaching or zookeeping.
