Obituary: Donald Pruett
Donald Pruett, 41, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away July 31, 2023, doing what he loved most- flying in his Huey helicopter. He was born Jan. 19, 1982, in Northridge, Calif. to Dennis Pruett and Meta (Salamone) Pruett. Donald is survived by his daughter Aubrey D. Pruett of Cisne, Illinois; father and stepmother, Dennis and Janet Pruett of Lake Ozark, Missouri; mother Meta Pruett of Peoria Ariz.; sister Denise Baker and niece Riley Kinney of Peoria Ariz..
Donald and his sister Denise attended kindergarten and first grade in Williams, Ariz. They spent a few years in Carson City, Nevada, and then returned to Williams, Ariz. to attend middle school and high school.
Memorial Service: The Valley Cathedral Church Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023. Service is 11 a.m. at 4002 W Union Hills Dr. Glendale, Ariz.
The Honor Reception for Capt. Don P.: Hilton Garden Inn following the service at 16601 N. Stadium Way, Surprise, Ariz. Lunch will be served with open bar.
