Letter: Disappointed with Williams Fourth of July parade
We would like to comment on the recent 4th of July festivities.
For many years, we've always looked forward to our community events, especially our annual parade.
However, we missed seeing the floats, more veterans and a marching band. We were also shocked to see several girls scantily dressed spraying water from the trucks in this small town family oriented event.
We also felt that this was inappropriate since they were not near a lake, pool, beach or river. We hope the facilitators will take this into consideration for next year.
Thank you,
The Torrez, Greene and Mitchell family and friends
