Letter to the Editor: Help for those losing health care coverage after pandemic
With the Public Health Emergency coming to a close soon (COVID-19 Pandemic), AHCCCS will no longer be auto renewing for those that have enrolled in the past couple of years. We are anticipating 600,000 Arizonans to lose their coverage and benefits.
My goal is to be as proactive as possible to get the word out that North Country HealthCare is here to help for free and make sure people have the coverage they need, especially when that time comes. Patients are now losing their coverage and receiving letters from AHCCCS to update their information/being informed they may no longer be eligible for benefits. This can affect people you may know such as employees, friends or families.
