WHS senior spotlight: Aydan C Rodgers
Aydan C Rodgers is a senior at Williams High School. He has attended school in Williams since his junior year. He moved to Williams from Bakersfield, California.
In high school, Aydan participated in football. He also was involved in welding.
Aydan’s favorite classes in high school were history and science.
“I liked the labs that we did in science. In history, I just like learning about the past and seeing what’s happened and how it’s all led up to now,” Aydan said.
Aydan’s favorite teachers at WHS were Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Mitkowski.
“Johnson is very laid back and fun. Mitkowski she’s a really good teacher. She captures our attention when she teaches,” Aydan said.
Aydan’s favorite high school memory was the football games.
“Showing up to football games and turning around and seeing everybody in the stands,” Aydan said.
In his down time, Aydan likes hanging out with friends.
“We drive around and go get food,” Aydan said.
Outside of school, Aydan works at Superior Propane which his grandparents own.
After graduation, Aydan will attend an apprenticeship in California where he’ll earn his CDL and permit to operate cranes and heavy equipment.
