TUSAYAN, Ariz. — If you’ve ever wanted to explore Grand Canyon on two wheels, now’s your chance.

Bright Angel Bicycles is encouraging people to visit Grand Canyon by bicycle Sept. 28 at 10 a.m.

The free event will be at the Tusayan Greenway Trail head – just outside the South Entrance to the Grand Canyon

Participants can bring their own bikes or rentals available inside the park at the visitor center.

The ride can be as long or short as you want.

In addition to the ride, the Town of Tusayan is holding a poker run to celebrate the day.

Participants can bike from business to business gathering their poker hands. They then turn in cards for prizes before hitting the Greenway Trail and biking into the Grand Canyon National Park on a scenic paved trail.

Register for the event at grandcanyoncvb.org/national-bike-your-park-day/.
