WHS senior spotlight: Bryton Cox
Bryton is a senior at Williams High School. He has attended school in Williams since kindergarten.
In high school, Bryton has been involved in football, basketball and golf. He plays center and nose guard for Williams and also plays in the American Bowl in Texas as defense and lineman.
Bryton’s favorite class in high school was history.
“I really like learning about U.S. history and how far we’ve come and how we started.”
During his time at Williams High, Bryton’s favorite teacher and coach has been Mr. Brownlee.
“He’s always very understanding and tries to build your knowledge on everything.”
Bryton said some of his best memories in high school were the times he got to be a part of the student section at games.
“Being part of the Viking family is really my favorite memory.”
In his down time, Bryton likes to go hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
Outside of school, Bryton works at Elephant Rocks Golf Course.
After graduation, Bryton plans to attend a four-year university to study sports leadership and play college football. He’s currently looking into Ottawa University in Surprise, Arizona. He hopes to one day have a career that involves sports.
