Jeff Pettit Memorial Golf Tourney June 4 to raise funds for Williams Fire
WILLIAMS, Ariz. — Williams Volunteer Fire Department is putting on their 21st annual Fire Prevention Golf Tournament June 4 at Elephant Rocks Golf Course.
To honor one of their own that passed away in August 2021, the department has renamed the tournament the Jeff Pettit Memorial Fire Prevention Golf Tournament.
“Jeff Pettit founded and ran this tournament for the past 20-years. In light of his untimely passing, the Williams Fire Department has decided to honor Jeff and his legacy by keeping this tradition going,” said Williams Fire Captain Jeff Dent.
The tournament is a fundraiser for the department, with proceeds used to support various fire prevention programs throughout the Williams community.
