COVID-19 vaccine clinics offered Jan. 6 and 7 at Grand Canyon and Tusayan

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. — COVID-19 vaccination clinics will take place at the Grand Canyon and Tusayan this week.

On Jan. 6, vaccinations will be available at the Grand Canyon Recreation Center, located at 2 Mohave St. in Grand Canyon Village, from 3-6 p.m. No advanced registration is needed. Please bring your vaccination card if seeking a second, or booster dose. Masks are required at the vaccination site.

On Jan. 7, vaccinations will be available at the Tusayan Fire Department, located at 408 AZ-64 in Tusayan, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. No advanced registration is needed. Please bring your vaccination card if seeking a second, or booster dose. Masks are required at the vaccination site.

These clinics are made possible by Coconino County Health and Human Services.

COVID-19 vaccines offered

Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, first & second doses are available for those ages 18 and older. Pfizer (Comirnaty) vaccine - first and second doses for ages 5 and over. A guardian must accompany those between the ages of 5 - 17.

Boosters

Moderna and Johnson & Johnson booster doses are available for all adults 18+. Pfizer Boosters available for those 16 and older. Guardian must accompany those who are 16 – 17 years old. For booster dose eligibility information: coconino.az.gov/2547/Vaccine-Info
