The following is a list of calls High Country Fire Rescue responded to in January. High Country Fire is an all-volunteer fire station. Their response area starts at the edge of the city of Williams and continues to Valle.

On Jan. 6, HCFR responded to Buckridge Street, Junipine Estates for an out of area call. Fire personnel responded for an unresponsive patient with a diabetic issue. Patient transported to Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC).

On Jan. 6, HCFR responded to N. Wilshire for an EMS call. Fall and lift assist only, no injuries.

On Jan. 10, HCFR responded to Highway 64 and 180 for a report of a respiratory issue for a 2 year-old. Call was cancelled with Lifeline Ambulance (LLA) and Guardian Medical Transport (GMT) enroute.

On Jan. 13, HCFR responded to an EMS call on Galewood Drive for a report of a fall for an elderly patient. Life assist, no medical.

On Jan. 14, HCFR responded to an EMS call in the area of East Funnel Road and Red Mountain Road for a group of individuals lost and dehydrated — incorrect lat/long given, they were not in the area.

On Jan. 14, HCFR responded to a report of a traffic accident on Spring Valley Road. Vehicle collided into APS pole, single vehicle and single patient. Area was secured and patient was AirVac to FMC.

On Jan. 14, HCFR responded to State Route 64 and Espee to assist DPS in locating lost individuals. Individuals dehydrated — transported by LLA to FMC.

On Jan. 16, HCFR responded to East Galewood Drive for an EMS call. Patient was septic and was transported to FMC by LLA.

On Jan. 16, HCFR responded to Pine Street for an EMS call. An assessment request for COVID-19, patient refused transport.

On Jan. 16, HCFR responded to Orchid Street for a report of an individual who had fallen. Life assist, no medical.

On Jan. 19, HCFR responded to North Mantenga and Spring Valley Road for a report of heavy smoke in area. No smoke, heavy fog in area. No fire in area.

On Jan. 19, HCFR responded to mailboxes on Buckridge in Junipine Estates (out of area) for a report of an unresponsive individual who had fallen out of a vehicle. Patient was assessed, no injury, no medical issues.

On Jan. 19, HCFR responded to North Pinon Pine Street in Junipine Estates for a report of an individual who had fallen. Life assist, no injuries, no medical.

On Jan. 19, HCFR responded to North Pinon Pine Street in Junipine Estates for a report of an individual who had fallen. Patient was assessed, injury reported and patient was transported by LLA.

On Jan. 21, HCFR responded to East Ontario for a report of an individual in pain. Patient was dehydrated with back pain — transported to FMC by LLA.

On Jan. 24, HCFR responded to Copperhead Road for a report of an individual who had fallen and was unable to get up. Forced entry into location. Patient refused transport.

On Jan. 26, HCFR responded to Pit Tank Road and Grantham Ranch Road for a report of a down airplane with a pilot who had minor injuries, no fire. Pilot was located and hiked out. Refused transport.

On Jan. 28, HCFR responded to Copperhead Road for a report of an individual who had fallen and was unable to get up. Patient refused transport.

On Jan. 29, HCFR responded to Espee and Grand Canyon Rail Road tracks for an individual with chest pain on the train. Grand Canyon Railroad decided to go into Williams Station. No patient contact.

On Jan. 29, HCFR responded to South Santa Clara in Valle for a report of a sick person — LLA and GMT handling, HCFR cancelled.

On Jan. 31, HCFR responded to Copperhead Road for a possible stroke. Patient was transported to FMC by LLA.
