Evacuations ordered for fire northeast of Flagstaff- Lennox Road, Wupatki Trails

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.- A wildland fire that began April 17 is rapidly spreading northeast of Flagstaff due to high winds and evacuations are in place.

The following areas are in evacuation status:

All residents north of Lenox Road, including Wupatki Trails and south of Forest Service Road 545 are in GO STATUS - EVACUATE NOW

The following areas are in preevacuation status:

Fernwood, Timberline, and Hutchison Acres are in SET STATUS - PREPARE TO EVACUATE

Closures:

FS Road 544 is CLOSED
