Celebrating Halloween at Grand Canyon and Tusayan
Grand Canyon Village and Tusayan are getting in the spirit of Halloween by offering family friendly options for the holiday.
• On Oct. 30 from 2-5 p.m., Grand Canyon School will host a Halloween Carnival at Grand Canyon School. The cost is .25 cents and costumes are encouraged.
• On Oct. 30 from 5-7 p.m., the town of Tusayan and Grand Canyon Chamber and Visitors Bureau will be co-hosting a Trunk or Treat. The event takes place at parking lot in front of Tusayan Fire Department. Those who would like to pre-arrange a spot can contact Jill at the Tusayan Town Hall at (928) 638-9909.
• On Oct. 31 at 4 p.m., Grand Canyon Recreation Center will host a Trick or Treat in the Sun Atrium.
• On Oct. 31 from 4-6 p.m., for the safety of Trick-or-Treaters, Grand Canyon Village’s Park Circle will be staffed with NPS Rangers and closed to all non-residents during these hours.
