Grand Canyon reports 47 total COVID-19 cases during pandemic

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. — Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Grand Canyon National Park has reported 47 total positive cases in the park.

To date, none of the positive cases resulted from interaction with park visitors, according to the park.

A total of 17,700 confirmed cases have been reported in Coconino County between March 2020 and March 2021. There were a total of 311 deaths reported. Approximately 55,476 county residents have been vaccinated to date.
