“Mrs. A has been the coolest teacher to me,” she said.

She said she really enjoys her science classes, especially learning about astronomy.

“I love science and everything to do with space,” she said.

She said her favorite memories at WHS include homecoming. She also enjoys eating off campus with her friends.

“Everyone is so invested in homecoming, especially decorating the hallways” she said. “Everybody works together.”

Outside of school, Cat enjoys singing and writes and records her own songs. She also enjoys painting and designing tattoos.

Cat works as a barista at Selah Cafe, she likes to make Boba tea.

After graduation, Cat plans to move to Phoenix and live with her brother or grandparents so she can attend Mesa Commuity College.

“They have a really good astronomy program and I can earn my two-year degree,” she said. “And then I can go to a university.”

She said her dream is to work for NASA.
