Wildfire in Doney Park area flares up again
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — A wildfire first reported late yesterday, Sept. 14, flared up again this morning on Flagstaff's eastern outskirts, prompting evacuation of homes in a rural area, Coconino County officials said.
It wasn't immediately known how many homes were in the evacuation area, which was east of U.S. 89.
The fire was estimated at up to 2 acres before it was knocked down yesterday evening. Its cause wasn't immediately known.
