Williams High School senior spotlight: Madi Olson
Madi Olson is a senior at Williams High School. She has attended school in Williams since kindergarten.
Madi has played volleyball, basketball and golf at WHS. She is also in National Honor Society and welding.
One of Madi’s favorite classes is math, especially calculus.
She said Mr. Honsinger has inspired her the most.
“That changed my life, his class literally gave me the direction I want to go,” she said.
She said Mr. Echeverria and Mr. Brownlee also encouraged her.
Madi has worked at Oh, Sweeties and Brewed Awakenings.
For fun, Madi likes to sleep, go hot tubbing and swimming.
Her best memories are winning powderpuff at Homecoming and hanging out with her brother.
After graduation, Madi plans to attend the University of Hawaii on Oahu and study biological engineering. She has been accepted to the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources.
She is considering become a prosthetics lab researcher.
“I want to help veterans and other people with the latest technology,” she said.
