W.A.A.G. rabies vaccination clinic cancelled

The 35th annual W.A.A.G. Rabies Vaccination Clinic has been cancelled due to the exposure risk of the coronavirus.

Scheduled for April 4, the decision to cancel was made out of love and respect for our community. The Williams Animal Action Group wants us to be safe and healthy.

Those who need a rabies shot for their pets should contact their regular veterinarian. Dr. Lisa will be having a clinic in Parks, Arizona at the Parks Feed and Mercantile, 518 Parks Road on April 11 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Call (928) 635-2931 to make an appointment.

If you need a city of Williams license for your pet, you can get that at the police department. Bring your rabies certificate as proof of a currant vaccination and proof of a current vaccination and proof of spay or neuter (W.A.

A.G. form or vet receipt) to get a big discount.

You can use the internet to find out when the following organizations will once again be having their usual vaccination clinics: High Country Humane Society, Petsmart, Petco, Tractor Supply and the Coconino County Humane Society.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all co-operate to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We'll get through this challenge together.

Kali M. Kaliche, President, W.A.A.G.
