Letter: Atta-girl to the employees at National Bank of Arizona
Thursday morning several of my tenants in Williams called me in alarm that the bank was going to be closed due to the COVID-19 lockdown, and how could they pay their rent!? Obviously, this was of concern to both parties.
I made a quick phone call to the Williams branch (National Bank of Arizona), asking for the manager, and the status of their operating hours. In almost disbelief Tanya Christie replied, “We ABSOLUTELY will be open for business. This bank is like a hospital, essential business to the community.”
Whoa, I have to admit that I was taken aback. Not only did I get the right answer, I got the answer with commitment and heart. I thanked her and continued along my work day.
Later in the day I needed to make another call to the bank, this time for business and upon completion made it a point to thank the woman who had helped me for staying open and serving customers.
I appreciate their dedication to the bank and their community, while possibly jeopardizing themselves and their own families. Wow, two in a row.
Tanya Christie, you deserve an ATTA-GIRL, a pat on the back, and a really sincere hug (when this flu is over!). Great job, great representation of National Bank of Arizona. Not only do YOU have a fantastic dedication to your business and the people of Williams, your people do as well. That’s genuine leadership.
My sincere and professional complements.
