Grand Canyon Food Pantry seeks volunteers
Grand Canyon Food Pantry is seeking volunteers for regular shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Mike Scott at gcfoodpantryinc@gmail.com or (207) 229- 1228.
More than 100 families were served between the pantry and Grand Canyon School during the Thanksgiving holiday. As of Nov. 15, the pantry is operating on winter hours: Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 p.m.
CASA in Flagstaff seeks advocates
CASA of Coconino County recruites, trains and supports volunteers to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courtroom and other settings.

The town of Tusayan is offering free gifts to local children at the Santa Shack, located at the Tusayan Town Hall, 845 Mustang Drive in Tusayan. To make an appointment to visit the Santa Shack call (928) 638-9909.
Hermit Road opens to private vehicles
Hermit Road shuttle is suspended, but the road is open to private vehicles December, January and February.
