Williams High School senior spotlight: Alyssa McMahon
Alyssa McMahon is a senior cheerleader at Williams High School. She has been cheering since seventh grade.
Besides cheerleading, Alyssa is active with 4-H and rodeo. She shows dairy goats and won Grand Champion and Best of Show this year at the Coconino County Fair.
She runs barrels and poles with her horse and carries the flag at rodeos. She started riding when she was four.
Alyssa plans to attend the University of Arizona to study animal sciences. She wants to study veterinary medicine.
Her favorite classes at the high school are her culinary courses. She said Ms. Moreno and Mrs. White have especially encouraged her during her time at the high school.
Alyssa works at Miss Kitty’s Steakhouse and will work as a chef for the Polar Express this winter.
If she went on a roadtrip she would take Emily Bennett, Jamie Donovan and Nancy Leon and Paula Belmontes.
