The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service (among others) —

• Officers arrested a male for driving suspended on Franklin Avenue;

• Officers conducted welfare check on Third Street;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers assisted DPS with pursuit of stolen vehicle that wrecked near golf course suspects ran from officers and after search suspects not found;

• Officers took report of subjects breaking into shed on Burning Tree and stealing bikes, tied to pursuit;

• Officers responded to local hotel reference male not paying for room, subject paid for room, civil matter;

• Officers responded to local hotel reference credit card charge, civil matter;

• Officers responded to suspicious vehicle on Route 66;

• Officers assisted Lifeline at local hotel;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Edison Avenue;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Fulton Avenue;

• Officers took report of criminal damage to rental vehicle, occurrence location undetermined;

• Officers responded to disturbance at local bar, prosecution not desired subject trespassed from property;

• Officers assisted DPS on Sherman;

• Officers assisted Fire Department with looking for fire on Seventh Street, not found;

• Officers responded to missing juvenile who didn’t show up to football practice, found at skate park;

• Officers arrested a male for a warrant on Cataract Road;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on First Street;

• Officers took check fraud at local business;

• Officers responded to man with AR15 on golf course, exterminator getting rid of ground hogs;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Rodeo Road;

• Officers responded to unattended vehicle on Garland Prairie;

• Officers responded to open door at vacation rental on Edison Avenue, faulty latch;

• Officers took report of burglary and theft of motor vehicle on Pinehurst;

• Officers took report of burglary/theft on Pinehurst;

• Officers took report of attempted theft of vehicle on Piping Rock;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on First Street;

• Officers assisted Lifeline at local hotel;

• Officers took report of private property accident at city parking lot;

• Officers took report of shoplifting at Safeway;

• Officers delivered death notification on Rodeo for Yavapai County;

• Officers responded to trespass on BNSF property, subjects removed;

• Officers conducted welfare check for DCS on Seventh Street;

• Officers assisted Lifeline at Love’s Travel Stop;

• Officers took report of lost property on Route 66, property found and returned to owner;

• Officers responded to an alarm on County Club Drive;

• Officers responded to disturbance on Fourth Street, intoxicated male complied when told to go inside;

• Officers took criminal damage report on Quarter Horse;

• Officers responded to attempted suicide on Rodeo Road, subject transported to FMC mental health by Lifeline;

• Officers responded to disturbance on Newton, verbal only;

• Officers took threats report on Route 66;

• Officers took report of lost property on Route 66;

• Officers took private property accident at local hotel;

• Officers responded to trespass at Safeway, subject trespassed;

• Officers took criminal damage on Fulton Avenue;

• Officers responded to drag racing on Airport Avenue;

• Officers recovered missing person for other jurisdiction;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers responded to dead javelin on South Road, removed from roadway;

• Officers responded to domestic on Echo Canyon, two arrested for domestic violence assault;

• Officers took criminal damage on Rodeo Road;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers responded to welfare check at RV Park;

• Officers responded to disturbance on Homestead Avenue, verbal only;

• Officers took report of hit and run accident at McDonalds;

• Officers responded to 911 hang up on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers responded to an alarm on Route 66;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Sherman Avenue;

• Officers took an assault report on Edison Avenue;

• Officers responded to parking issues on Ninth Street;

• Officers responded to suspicious vehicle near Amtrak;

• Officers took criminal damage report on Third Street;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Grant Avenue;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Rodeo Road;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Fulton Avenue;

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Locust;

• Officers responded to aggravated assault on Route 66;

• Officers assisted Lifeline on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers arrested a male for extreme DUI on Grand Canyon Boulevard;

• Officers responded to fight on Third Street and Route 66, parties separated;

• Officers assisted U.S. Marshal with arrest at Love’s Travel Stop;

• Officers responded to fight on Fulton Avenue, nothing found in area and

Officers issued nine citations and gave out 56 warnings.
