Corey Tunnell and Paul Ferry are relieved to be back in northern Arizona after riding out Hurricane Irma in the Virgin Islands Oct. 6.

On Oct. 17 Wendy Howell wrote an article about Surviving Hurricane Irma.

We would like to thank everyone who so generously donated, prayed and supported us as we began our lives back in the Northland.

Special thanks to Wendy for her article and Diana Croteau for setting up a local account at NBAZ.

Several other locals went out of their way to make sure we had a few incidentals; Lissa and Jerry, Lynn and Ray, Maryellen and John and of course Barbara and Bob (Mom and Dad).

We miss our island home but are very happy to be back. One sad note, our 14 year old Akita, Thalía, passed on Halloween. She will be missed by anyone whose life she touched.
