September Students of the Month for Williams Elementary-Middle School
WILLIAMS, Ariz. — Williams Unified School District announced their September students of the month.
The kindergarten student of the month for September was Damian Fowler. Damian’s teacher said he has only been in kindergarten for a short time and already does an amazing job of listening and following directions. He works hard at everything and even when he’s not sure if he can do something, he gives it his very best effort. He is a good friend and a great helper.
Corrin Saginario was the first first grade student of the month. Saginario’s teacher said she is always very respectful with her peers and other adults and is always on time and at school every day. She works hard in class and participates in all activities. She is very caring and helps others. She is a great example of citizenship. Way to go, Corrin.
The student of the month for second grade is Estreya Sagvold-Martinez. She is a student who does not need to be repeatedly given instructions, or asked to listen, her teacher said. Martinez is always kind and has a smile on her face. She tries her hardest and gives her best effort.
Quintin “Q” Ford is the third grade student of the month. Ford’s teacher said he has a very good attitude and tries his very best at everything put before him. He treats others well. His teacher said Ford can always be counted on to be doing what is expected of him and said he has voiced how much he is enjoying third grade. Ford’s teacher said she is very pleased to have him in the class and is looking forward to big things coming from him this school year. Congratulations, Quintin.
The fourth grade student of the month is Leandro Amaro. Leandro is a wonderful friend and a hard working student, according to his teacher. Leandro takes pride in his work and always puts forth his best effort. He is a great peer leader and often models appropriate behavior for his classmates.
Tyler Jensen is fifth grade student of the month. He is currently holding a 4.0 GPA and is averaging a four on his formatives. He’s always on task and ready to take on new challenges.
Middle School, 8th Grade
Toby Stearns is an extremely well -deserving student to receive this award; he is loved by all around him.Toby is always a light in the classroom with his witty banter. Toby has a great work ethic and is always moving forward with his curriculum. Additionally, Toby is a bright spirit who works hard and is always willing to be a part of the community around him
Elaina Foley is an amazing student who always puts in extra effort to achieve the highest level in ELA. Elaina is a gifted writer and surprises me every day with her unique viewpoints. She is a quiet but extremely insightful when you lean in to listen.
