Williams 911: week of Nov. 9
The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service (among others) —
•Officers arrested a woman for extreme driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) after they stopped a vehicle at Sixth Street and Route 66 for driving with no headlights;
•Officers arrested a man for DUI after officers stopped a vehicle for running two stop signs on Grant Avenue;
•Officers took a report of possible porn sent to children’s phones, the phone was hacked;
•Officers arrested a man for outstanding warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest on Grant Avenue;
•Officers responded to an intoxicated man staggering on Fifth Street, the man was taken home;
•Officers responded to a fight at a local gas station, two truck drivers were arguing and were separated;
•Officers responded to an intoxicated woman causing issues at a local hotel, the woman was trespassed off the property;
•Officers conducted kept the peace on Grant Avenue for Child Protective Services;
•Officers issued 10 citations and gave out 30 warnings.

Those who want to report a crime while remaining anonymous can also call Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME. Silent Witness offers rewards of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
