WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Williams residents and visitors have more dining options with the opening of the Crazy Thai Buffalo restaurant.

Doug Morton has been in the restaurant business for 34 years, bringing his business from Palm Springs to Williams.

He cooks basic Thai but adds some creativity to his menu.

"I learned to cook at home. My parents wanted us to learn to cook for ourselves," he said. "I like to make people happy, I like them to enjoy the food. I put my heart and soul into it."

Morton has opened seven restaurants during his career and most recently worked for the Grand Canyon Railway.

"I came to Williams to get away from the heat," he said. "I worked a buffet for a while but I like to use my skills."

Morton said he enjoys putting out something nice for people that they can enjoy.

The Crazy Thai Buffalo offers all types of Thai food including spring rolls, satay, larb, ceasar chicken salad, Thai tom yum, pad thai and panang.

Morton said he will customize the spiciness of the meal to the customer's desire.

The Crazy Thai Buffalo is open Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is located at 103 S. 5th St. in Williams. The restaurant is tucked behind the Buffalo Point Inn across from the Williams Police Station.
