Guest column: Rabies clinic at Williams Rodeo Barn April 2

To the editor:

Spring and the 31st Williams Animal Action Group's annual Rabies vaccination clinic are here. Mark your calendars. April 2 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Williams Rodeo Barn is where and when it will happen.

Look at your rabies vaccination certificates to see if your pet is due for a shot. If your cat or dog had its first vaccination last year it is due for a booster shot. Boosters are good for three years. If your pet's last booster shot was in 2013, it will need another vaccination this year.

The rabies vaccinations are $10 each including the metal tag and rabies certificate.

Puppies and kittens must be at least 12 weeks or older to be vaccinated. No sick, pregnant or nursing pets can receive a shot. For more information call WAAG at 635-2595. Meanwhile, mark your calendars and get ready for the April 2 WAAG Rabies Vaccination Clinic.
