Williams 911: week of Dec. 7
The Williams Police Department (WPD) answered the following calls for service (among others) —
• Officers arrested a man for assault and disorderly conduct after responding to a domestic call on Hereford Avenue;
• Officers arrested a man for assault after a domestic call on Boyd Avenue;
• Officers responded to a Rottweiler dog being aggressive on Route 66, the dog and owner were not found when officers arrived;
• Officers responded to an alarm on Seventh Street;
• Officers took a private property accident report at top parking lot of a local gas station;
• Officers took a private property accident report at a lower parking lot of a local gas station;
• Officers turned a medical call at a local hotel over to Life Line;
• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Locust Avenue;
• Officers responded to a vehicle that lost a tire on County Club Drive, a tow truck was called;
• Officers responded to injury accident on South Road, the non-injury accident was turned over to the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office;
• Officers took a fraud report from a local business on Route 66;
• Officers responded to a loud party at a local hotel, the guest turned down the music when officer’s asked;
• Officers responded to speeding vehicles on Fulton Avenue;
• Officers assisted a man who locked himself out of his residence on Sherman Avenue;
• Officers assisted with checking basketball tournament though out their shifts;
• Officers turned a medical call on Wells Fargo over to Life Line;
• Officers turned a medical call on Route 66 over to Life Line;
• Officers responded to an alarm on Seventh Street;
• Officers investigated a non-injury accident at a local gas station;
• Officers served a search warrant on a non-registered sex offender at a local RV park;
• Officers checked on the high school basketball tournament several times;
• Officers assisted the Department of Public Safety with a broken down vehicle on I-40;
• Officers handled an argument between two truck drivers at the scene of a local gas station;
• Officers responded to reports of shots fired at Santa Fe Dam, nothing was found in the area;
• Officers turned a medical call on Rodeo Road over to Life Line;
• Officers responded to an alarm on Seventh Street;
• Officers turned a medical call at a local hotel over to Life Line;
• Officers conducted a welfare check on Edison Avenue;
• Officers took report of overdue party at local hotel, subject found.
• Officers turned a medical call on Second Street over to Life Line;
• Officers took a private property accident report at a local gas station;
• Officers turned a medical call at a local hotel over to Life Line;
• Officers took a possible child abuse report at a local hotel;
• Officers took in found property on Airport Road;
• Officers assisted with changing a tire for a tourist on Grand Canyon Boulevard;
• Officers responded to threats via Facebook, the case was turned over to Flagstaff Police Department because the suspect lived in Flagstaff;
• Officers dealt with numerous snow issues;
• Officers took a report of theft of a watch on Fulton Avenue, the victim recovered the watch and did not want to prosecute;
• Officers conducted a welfare check as part of RUOK on Ninth Street;
• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Route 66 and the railroad overpass; and
• Officers issued 13 citations and gave out 39 warnings.
