Obituary: Mildred Messimer
Mildred Messimer, 87, of Cottonwood, passed away on Nov. 13, 2015. She was born on Sept. 7, 1928 in Gotebo, Oklahoma to Carl and Ophelia Williamson.
Mildred went to school in Williams, Arizona and college at Life Bible College in California from 1950-1954.
Mildred attended Williams Foursquare Church while living in Williams and was recently a member of Cottonwood Christian Assembly.
Mildred was a very loving daughter and sister and loved by those who knew her.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ophelia, husband E. Blake Messimer and brother Harold Williamson. She is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Tipton (James) of Cottonwood and Sharon Turpin of Cottonwood.
A visitation will be held on Nov. 18, 2015 at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services was held Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. at Cottonwood Christian Assembly Church. A burial took place at the Williams Cemetery.
