Grand Canyon School sends love, sympathy and support to citizens of Paris

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. - Grand Canyon School (GCS) students in third through 12th grade designed and drew sympathy cards with personalized messages for the citizens of Paris, France after the city was attacked Nov. 13.

"It is the Grand Canyon sharing in the grief," said Mary Anne Cataldi an art teacher at GCS. "We are hoping to bring a message of light and comfort to (France),"

Cataldi mailed around 100 cards to the U.S. Embassy in France Nov. 21.

"I hope and pray other countries and schools are doing the same thing," Cataldi said.
