WILLIAMS, Ariz. - The Little League Majors Diamondbacks won the Little League City Tournament.

Led by big hitting and stealth stealing, the Diamondbacks swept the Williams Little League City Tournament June 15.

Mario Vasquez, Preston Ford, Oryn Orozco, and Mike Kessler each scored two runs as the Diamondbacks beat the Yankees 11-0 in the four inning game.

Orozco, Kessler and Zain Grantham each had a single and double to lead the hitting for the Diamondbacks. Grantham displayed his usual aggressive base stealing, but got caught twice by the Yankees and held to a single run.

The Yankees were led with hits by Tyler Jensen, CJ Hensen, Jesse Howell and Kody Kelly, but were stopped short of scoring by the dynamic defense of the Diamondbacks.

Cody Jensen led the pitching for the Yankees with three strike-outs. Grantham pitched for the Diamondbacks and had four strike-outs.
