Williams Elementary announces April Students of the Month
WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Officials at Williams Elementary-Middle School recently announced the April Students of the Month.
The kindergarten student of the month is Madilyn Dart. Madilyn's teacher said she has grown so much this year both academically and personally. She works hard at everything she does. She is a good friend and is helpful and kind to all her classmates.
The first grade student of the month is Jayln Cooke. Jayln's teacher said she she has been working very hard this semester. She has become very responsible with her homework and is learning how to be a role model of character in the classroom.
The second grade student of the month is Miguel Rocha. Miguel's teacher said he has shown so much growth and maturity over the course of the school year. His reading abilities improve each day and he always has a smile on his face.
The third grade student of the month is R. J. Van Winkle. R.J.'s teacher said he has made leaps and bounds improvement over his third grade year. His teacher said R.J. has done more work in the last few months than he has ever done. He has bloomed into a student who loves to learn, and does his work to show what he is learning. His behavior has improved as has his work ethic.
The fourth grade student of the month is Izabelle Adrian. Izabelle's teacher said she is sweet, caring, and a hard worker. This semester Izabelle has brought up all of her grades, she has been turning in all homework and is always participating. Her teacher said seeing Izabelle show so much growth the past few months has been amazing. Izabelle is always smiling when she comes to school and she is very kind to all of her classmates.
The fifth grade student of the month is Arwen Salgado. Arwen's teacher said she is an extremely diligent student who cares immensely about her school work and strives to do her best at all times. She is extremely helpful when it comes to tutoring other students when they don't understand their schoolwork. She is an excellent role model for her peers and always tries to include everyone and not let anyone feel left out.
