Obituary: Lora Zabala
Lora Zabala passed away at home on Dec. 14, 2014.
Lora was born to Margie and Martin Kapp in Dawin Oklahoma on February 28, 1931. Lora was raised in Antlers, Oklahoma with her eight siblings.
In 1949, Lora married Raul Zabala. They moved around a bit before settling in Williams in 1955 where she raised a family and worked for many years driving the senior citizens Meals on Wheels Van and at the Grand Canyon Railroad Museum. She loved working. She was a kind and caring person who loved her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Lora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six children and three siblings. She is survived by two brothers, four sisters, 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren and six children: Pilar White, Dolores and (Eddie) Faultner, Pedra and (Tina) Zabala, Lora Zabala Austin, Martin and (Lisa) Zabala and Carlos and (Tangie) Zabala, all from Williams, Arizona.
Services for Lora will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church at 629 West Grant Avenue in Williams, Arizona at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014.
The location for the celebration of life has not yet been determined.
The meat will be provided. All who attend may bring their favorite side dish or dessert.
