The winners received a Grand Canyon Rotary Club Chili Cook-Off t-shirt and a large pizza from We Cook Pizza or two extra value meals from Grand Canyon McDonald's. Matt McTigue and Mark Otto from the El Tovar restaurant and Brandon Bettencourt from Big E Steakhouse judged the three categories during the Sept. 26 event.
Red Feather Lodge donated a t-shirt and $50 gift card to Rob Gossard, who was the winner of the Community Choice Award.
During the evening, the Rotary Club announced their annual community grant awards. The Grand Canyon School's School of Rock music program and Kaibab Learning Center's pre-school Montessori program received $500 each.
