Owen J. Drumgool Sr.

Owen J. Drumgool Sr., 89, of Flagstaff, Ariz. passed away October 10, 2013 at 7:30 a.m. at the Olivia White Hospice Home. He was born November 28, 1923 in Greenfield, Mass. to Joseph and Malvina St. Laurent Drumgool.

He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1941 and joined the military serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1945. July 9, 1945 he married Pauline Long and they shared 68 wonderful years together.

Mr. Drumgool worked at the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department as an evidence officer. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and many hobbies. Most importantly he loved spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife Pauline, his son Owen Jr. and his wife Peach, his son Jeff and wife Laurie, his grandchildren John, Alison, Dana, Rebecca, Ivy, Lucia, Finnegan and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother James of Cincinnati, Ohio. His brothers Bernard and Joseph and sisters Lorraine Clough and Mary Wiles preceded him in death.
