WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Williams residents can enjoy great music while supporting a great cause at next week's Grand Opry Night.

The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. April 5 in the Rodeo Barn. Money from the event goes to Williams Habitat for Humanity.

Besides the music, event goers can enjoy food, a cakewalk, raffles, door prizes and an auction.

The Williams Opry Band returns this year with some new members. The new lineup includes Lois Ann Dick, David Dick, Greg Mendonca, Bob Goodrich, Aaron Mendonca and Debi Campbell.

Other performers include Sheryl Kennelly, Patrick O'Brien, Katie Wamble, Ivie Mendonca, Cameron Haney and master of ceremonies Pamelia La Paglia.

"We get to get together and have a lot of fun, we use nothing but local talent, sometimes people get up and dance to the songs, and it's just a lot of fun," said Campbell, who also helps organize the event.

Campbell expects about 30 cakes for the cakewalk.

"It's a big deal. People love that," she said.

Hot dogs, popcorn, water and soda will be for sale at the event.

More than 100 items will be given out as door prizes, raffled or auctioned.

Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and $15 for a family of four or more.

"We've never raised the prices since we've started this," Campbell said, adding that the event started in 2003.

The last Opry Night in October 2012 raised more than $1,300 for Williams Habitat for Humanity. Organizers are hoping for a good turnout at this year's event.

"Come out and enjoy being with your friends and neighbors and just having a good time," Campbell said.
