Robbyn (Birdie) Lynn Bird, 56, of Williams, Ariz. passed away in Tucson, Ariz. on February 5, 2013. Birdie was born on Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nev. June 7, 1956 to Dorothy and Grant Bird. While living in Williams, she worked for the Grand Canyon Railway as a passenger service attendant and loved her job, brightening the days of people from all over the world. She also enjoyed her last job working for Dindie Harbison at the Canyon Country Inn where she continued to spread her special joy to their guests. Birdie loved the color purple, birds, Elvis and Michael Jackson, but most of all loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Everyone she knew had something about her that they loved. She was always smiling, very generous and a great friend to so many.

She will be missed by her beloved cat, Rah.

There will be a Celebration of Life, otherwise known as the Purdy Birdie Purple Party, at the Sultana Theater Feb. 23 starting at 6 p.m. A DJ will follow starting at 8 p.m.
