Photo: Williams High art students design Fiesta Bowl float
Williams High School art students stand with their design of a float they will construct to represent Williams in the Fiesta Bowl Parade Dec. 29 in central Phoenix.
The float will feature Bill Williams Mountain on the front with a train running from the mountain, through the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon" arch and to a papier-mâché representation of the Grand Canyon.
The students need donations for materials to build the float, including two-by-fours, chicken wire and newspaper. Information on donating is available from Gioia Goodrum at (928) 635-1418 or Tristan Heisley at (928) 635-4474.
