Emily Orzol, Sophie Smith and Emma Bell from Girl Scout Troop 1869 (Journey Club, Phoenix) have been making jewelry out of Milk Bone dog treats and various other items and selling them at different events to raise money for the SAVE-Meant to Rescue dog shelter in Williams. On Feb. 11, they got to see what their efforts will mean to some lucky pups and also met Robynn Eckel, the shelter's founder. So far the troop has earned $417 including the money raised at the bake sale.
