Williams 911: Week of June 20, 2012
The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -
Officers responded to a report of camping in a parking lot. An 82-year-old male's car had broke down and he was working with a mechanic to repair the vehicle.
Officers responded to a disturbance on Sheridan. A suspect ran but was identified.
Officers arrested two females for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Route 66.
Officers responded to a verbal disturbance on Edison. The parties were separated.
Officers took a report of an assault that occurred two days earlier on Homestead.
Officers responded to a trespasser on Sixth. The subject was removed.
Officers took a report of criminal damage to a vehicle on Sixth.
Officers responded to a subject practicing with a bow too close to homes on Torrey Pines.
Officers responded to a disturbance on Fifth. The subjects were gone upon officer arrival.
Officers dealt with a mental health issue on Seventh.
Officers took a report of fraud on Third.
Officers responded to a fight on Edison. A male was arrested for disorderly conduct with a weapon.
Officers responded to underage drinking at the rodeo grounds. A male was cited for underage consumption.
Officers responded to Route 66 in reference to underage drinkers. None were found.
Officers assisted Life Line on Seventh.
Officers responded to an intoxicated male on Fifth and Railroad. Officers found someone to take him back to camp.
Officers took a report of criminal damage to a vehicle on Frank Way.
Officers took a report of theft on Rodeo.
Officers took a report of theft on Frank Way.
Officers responded to several calls of underage drinkers at the rodeo grounds.
Officers arrested a male for extreme DUI and a passenger for underage consumption on Grand Canyon Boulevard and Edison. A stop was made after the driver almost struck pedestrians on a sidewalk.
Officers responded to a domestic on Third. The suspect ran before officers arrived, but has been identified.
Officers responded to an assault on Edison.
Officers served a search warrant on Edison and found 830 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia for a grow operation. A male was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale and operating a grow operation.
Officers responded to several loose dog calls.
Officers issued eight citations, and gave out 25 warnings.
