Photo: Habitat gets a helping hand

Volunteers from Grand Canyon have committed to arrive in Williams on the third Thursday of each month, through September, to help with community improvement projects and the Brush with Kindness Program. The first group of 14 energetic volunteers arrived on June 21 and spent the day with several local Williams Area Habitat for Humanity volunteers building fences, building a deck, painting and accomplishing some serious yard cleanup. Work on the house continues; Williams Area Habitat for Humanity expects to turn over the keys to a home partner by summer’s end. Take a walk by 402 E. Edison to see the progress. Submitted photo
