Letter: Seniors' donation to WAAG is appreciated
To the editor:
The Williams Animal Action Group (WAAG) would like to publicly thank the Bill Williams Seniors for their recent donation.
For over 27 years WAAG has been helping folks in this area with lower cost spays and neuters for their pets and hosting an annual rabies vaccination clinic. WAAG subsidizes the costs of these programs.
This last year the demand for our help dramatically increased and we almost ran out of money. The donations we receive go directly into the spay and neuter program to cover the rising surgical costs. You can see how the support of our elders, the Bill Williams Seniors, is appreciated.
WAAG is already booking pet surgeries into April as the need is so high. We are also preparing for our 27th annual rabies vaccination clinic on March 31. Mark your calendars for that.
Thank you, seniors, and our other supporters for your help. Donations are welcome and can be sent to: WAAG, P.O. Box 23, Williams, AZ 86046.
