It is impossible to put a lifetime well lived into one paragraph. Steve Greer was born on May 15, 1950 and passed away suddenly on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012. He was born in Phoenix and attended West High School. He met the love of his life "his Dolly" at NAU where he graduated as a business management major. He and Yvonne were married on June 29, 1973 and then moved to Winslow, where they raised their children.
After working for the BNSF for 38 years, he was enjoying his retirement and second home in New River, Ariz. Steve was known for his very kind, loving disposition and his zealous activity in the Christian ministry. He enjoyed sharing his hope to live forever on a paradise earth. (Job 14:14, 15, Psalm 37:29) He was a wonderful caring husband, father and friend.
He leaves behind his wife Yvonne Greer; children Stephanie (husband Jacek, daughter Sophia) Bereznicki of Long Island, N.Y., Ryan (wife Leah) Greer of Winslow, Ariz.; brother Pete Greer of Payson, Ariz.; and his sister Sally Wahler of Grand Canyon, Ariz. He also leaves behind many Greer and DeMiguel family members and close friends.
