Wedding: Mason-Hodgkins
WILLIAMS, Ariz. - Williams notable, Marv Mason, aka Marvelous Marv, exchanged wedding vows with Margaret Hodgkins, formerly of Grand Canyon, Ariz. and Bar Harbor, Maine, on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at the Historic Hotel Weatherford in Flagstaff, Ariz. in a brief, eclectic ceremony officiated by Jay Redfeather of Williams, Ariz.
The bride wore a handmade floor length white on white silk lotus brocade cheongsam trimmed with fur collar and cuffs, white gloves and white fur trimmed mules. The bride carried a bouquet of flamenco orange roses. The groom wore a traditional Native American ribbon shirt with black jeans. Best man, Wes Ponsford of Hesperia, Calif., wore a Hawaiian shirt, jeans and flip-flops. Matron of honor, Philomena (Mindy) Mann Nez of Grand Canyon and Cameron, Ariz., wore traditional Navajo regalia in turquoise and coral and she carried a conical wedding basket. The bride was escorted by her brother, Lawrence Hodgkins, of Bar Harbor, Maine.
Relatives in attendance included Bruce and Debra Staples of Trenton, Maine; Rich and Ann Rice of Flagstaff, Ariz.; Maryann Minnick of Cottonwood, Ariz.; Arlene and Sarah Minnick of Sedona, Ariz.; John and Lindsay Minnick of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and Doug and Sheryl Magnuson of Payson, Ariz. Many friends of longstanding attended the joyous event. A good time was had by all.
The bride and groom reside in Williams, Ariz. and plan a summer honeymoon.
