Williams 911: Week of Aug. 29, 2012

The Williams Police Department answered the following calls for service -

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Sixth. The disturbance was a verbal argument between neighbors. All parties were separated.

• Officers responded to camping in the city. A male was cited for two city codes on RVs and camping.

• Officers responded to a hotel in reference to a disturbance. A male and female were arrested for domestic violence charges.

• Officers took a report of criminal damage to a fence on Grant.

• Officers responded to a fight on Edison and Boyd. A male and female fled the area before officers arrived.

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Grand Canyon Boulevard.

• Officers responded to an argument on Third. The parties were separated.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident involving a vehicle vs. deer on Rodeo and Route 66.

• Officers took in found property at a hotel.

• Officers took a report of possible threats on Airport.

• Officers responded to an alarm on Grand Canyon Boulevard.

• Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle at Bearizona.

• Officers responded to suspicious activity on Ponderosa Loop.

• Officers responded to a trespasser at a hotel. A female was removed from the area.

• Officers conducted a welfare check on Fifth.

• Officers conducted a welfare check on Second.

• Officers responded to a parking issue on First.

• Officers investigated a non-injury accident on Second and Route 66.

• Officers assisted Life Line at several locations.

• Officers responded to a burglary on Sixth. A juvenile suspect was identified and arrested for burglary. All items stolen were recovered.

• Officers took a report of lost property on Route 66.

• Officers took a report of threats on Grand Canyon Boulevard.

• Officers took a report of a man displaying a knife at Cureton Park.

• Officers took a report of criminal damage on Homestead.

• Officers took a report of theft on Fulton. Suspects were identified and found at a hotel. The suspects used a stolen credit card at businesses in Williams. A search warrant was served and two suspects were arrested for fraudulent use of a credit card, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Officers responded to several dog calls.

• Officers arrested a male for extreme DUI on Railroad.

•Officers responded to a man face down in an alley on Third and Route 66. An intoxicated man was taken home.

• Officers responded to a juvenile issue on Sixth.

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Railroad. A male was arrested for disorderly conduct.

•Officers took a report of theft from a hotel.

• Officers dealt with a transient on Route 66 and Slagel.

• Officers responded to a panic alarm on Seventh.

• Officers responded to a disturbance on Route 66. A man was removed from the area.

• Officers issued 17 citations, and gave out 22 warnings.
