For the blossoming young artist in your family, treat them to affordable, fun classes at The Gallery in Williams.

This January, Gallery artists Bonnie Dent and Lisa Noble will be hosting a series of hour-long drawing classes geared toward children as part of ongoing efforts to expand the accessibility of art to the local community.

The classes are intimate, with a limit of four students per class, and pre-registration is required in order for the instructors to plan ahead with supplies.

Along with instructional classes on offer, the Gallery is packed full of a variety of possible gift ideas. Local artists have been busy creating small, affordable items perfect for adorning Christmas trees, homes, or that special someone.

Pick up a gift certificate today for classes or for any of the unique art for sale. The Gallery is located at 309 W. Route 66 in Williams, next to the Sultana Theater.

Dream Things Boutique

This holiday season, shopping locally has never been so easy or so convenient thanks to newly opened Dream Things Boutique and Lingerie.

From fine cigars to elegant lingerie to boxed chocolate, the boutique offers a unique selection of accoutrements, mostly made here in Arizona or in the United States.

Dream Things Boutique also sell pinup art created by such famous artists as Olivia, Dave Vesper and Nicole, as well as a wide assortment of stylish lingerie, with an emphasis on the needs of curvier women.

While they experiment with their winter hours, they are open Thursday 1 to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 1 to 9 p.m., Sunday 1 to 7 p.m. and Monday 1 to 5 p.m. The business is located on the corner of Route 66 and Second St.

Elk Horn Trading

The Quilters Mercantile

Know someone who is handy with a needle and thread? Treat them to many of the gift items available at the Quilters Mercantile, located on 226 W Route 66.

The 2000 square foot store offers customers a colorful range of quilting quality fabric, patterns, books, kits, sewing notions, and buttons.

Gift cards are available to purchase for anything in the store.

Results Fitness

Old Trails

Christmas shoppers can find just about anything on their shopping list this Christmas season at Old Trails True Value in Williams.

Old Trails offers much more than just high quality lumber and lawn decorations. Inside you will find sporting goods, garden items, tools and Christmas decorations such as outdoor stake lights, wreaths, trees, icicle lights and pre-lit artificial trees. There are also many items on sale starting this week, and many have been marked down at least 50 percent.

Everyone is invited to come in and check out the store. While you are there, sign up to win Bernie the Bear along with his Red Flyer wagon filled with Christmas fun for any boy, girl or those young at heart. The winner will be selected at noon on Dec. 23.

Wild Spur purses and Pine Country Restaurant

Wildspur Purses has joined forces with Pine Country Restaurant to give locals and visitors alike a shopping experience all under one roof at the corner of Grand Canyon Boulevard and Railroad Avenue.

Owned by Cindy Strum, Wildspur has been a favorite shopping spot among residents due to her simple, yet effective philosophy: affordable quality items. Strum carries handbags, purses and wallets of sizes and colors, including designer replicas of Gucci, Prada, and Coach, as well as handbags by MC Leather and American West.

Look for Strum's red tag holiday specials to nab an even greater deal.

Pine Country's homemade fudge is back, boasting around 30 different flavors. The fudge can be ordered in bulk or individually, with customers having the option to have it gift-wrapped for the holidays. Along with fudge, customers can now order holiday pies and cakes.
