The Williams Safeway store will close at 6 p.m. today so the employees can attend the Annual Safeway Employees Banquet in Flagstaff. The banquet includes all Safeway employees in northern Arizona.

The Williams Junior High Honor Roll has been announced. Seventh grade honor roll students include June Applegate, Clayton Barnes, Floyd Farley, Lawrence Jaramillo, Leisa Malone, Maria Montoya, Dan McNelly, Lisa Nicholson, Cheryl Parenteau, Tammy Pritchard, Rochelle Southworth, Tana Speckels, Kim Winquest, Carol Winslow and Tina Banbury. Eighth grade honor roll students include Andy Cooper, Joe Duffy, Melany Hoffman, Angela Hoyt, Manuel Jaramillo, J.B. Pickens, Tamera Pirtle, Margaret Trueba and Angie Young.
